To make it easier we have included a few of our most frequently asked questions and some information about how we operate:

WHERE IS THE STUDIO LOCATED?

Lost Garden Tattoo is a private studio located at Warlies Park House in Essex.

WHAT ARE YOUR SHOP HOURS?

As we are a private studio, we have no set working hours, please check with your desired artist for their availability.

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

The best way is to email us at lostgardentattoo@gmail.com, providing as much info as you can, attach any reference pictures you may have and photos of the area you wish to get tattooed. We can then discuss the details of your tattoo, including a rough quote. Should you wish to proceed with the tattoo, you then can pay a deposit to secure a date and time for an appointment with one of our artists.

IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?

Yes, we require a £60 – £150 deposit with all artists, this is taken at the time of booking via bank transfer and is used to secure your date with our artists.

*Please note deposits are non refundable! They will also be lost if you cancel your appointment, do not show or reschedule giving less than 5 days notice.To rebook you will then be required to leave another deposit.

HOW DO YOU PRICE?

We charge by the hour and also have a set rate for day sessions. Smaller pieces maybe charged at a set price, depending on details, size, etc. Please note if you book an all day session and do not do the full time the full amount must still be paid. Each artist has a different rate so please check with your desired artist.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM FEE?

Our minimum fee is £90, which goes towards disposables and setting up.

DAY SESSIONS

Full day sessions are around 6 hrs on average. If you book out a full day and cannot sit for a full day you will still be charged a day rate. Please note there is time built into this for some minor adjustments on the day of the tattoo. If any major redrawing is required the estimated tattooing time will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate the required drawing time.

HOW DO I PREPARE MYSELF FOR A TATTOO?

Being well rested the night before your appointment is vital. You will find your pain tolerance is a lot higher when you are feeling at your best. Have a good breakfast and stock up on sugar as it will prevent you from feeling feint. Also bring food/snacks as there are no shops nearby.

CAN I PAY BY CARD?

Yes, we take both cash or bank transfer but please check with your artist for their preferred method.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?

No, As we are a private studio we ask that you do not bring anyone with you as we are limited on space and would prefer to work without distractions.

AGE RESTRICTION?

Over 18s only. A signed consent from is required for everyone and if you are under the age of 25 ID must be scanned and attached to the consent form, in accordance to studio policy.
